Every tool in this download works with zero internet connection — that's exactly why Burn isn't part of the package. See below.

What about Burn?

Burn isn't part of this download, on purpose. Its entire design depends on a server holding an encrypted message until the single moment someone opens it — with no server to talk to, it wouldn't just be limited on a USB drive, it would do nothing at all. Rather than include a tool that can't function, Burn stays where it can actually work: free, online, at the live Burn tool. Every tool that's actually in this package works completely offline, no exceptions.

Frequently asked questions

Is my data ever sent anywhere?

No — every tool in the Portable Edition runs entirely in your browser and never sends anything anywhere. (Burn, which does need a server for its one-time links, isn't part of this download for exactly that reason — it stays available for free on the live website instead.)

Can I use this with absolutely no internet connection?

Yes — every tool included in the Portable Edition works with zero internet connection. Burn was left out of this package specifically because it can't work that way; use the free live version of Burn on the website when you're online instead.

Is this different from the tools on the website?

No — it's the exact same tools, repackaged to run entirely from a local folder instead of a live website.

How do I get updates?

Since this is a downloaded snapshot, updates come as a new version of the package to download and swap in, rather than updating automatically.
